A quick thing I threw together. If anyone remembers these photos: image

There was meant to be an alternate opening credits sequence for Prometheus, possibly in the style of Alien. This is my vision of how it would’ve looked like, I only changed the font of the titles to Gotham Book, which is actually the one used in the final film. The pacing of the actual credits was difficult to get right, so I apologise. If you want, mute the music and play A Friend from the Past from the OST, but I think this track A Planet, being the actual leitmotif of the film, works better here.

Anyway, enjoy!

Your fellow Investor, out.

One of the biggest question marks about Prometheus for me was the score. Ridley Scott’s two science-fiction masterpieces possess and incredible, dynamic and completely immersive score. I guess I should’ve be surprised that Prometheus also has an amazing score. Just like the film, it’s different from Alien but you can still feel/hear traces of it.

A woman once told me a story of how the world was created. First there was the sun. And the sun said “I’m alone and I have no one to shine down on”. So it created man…

The opening track from the PROMETHEUS score, possibly accompanying the “Beginning of Earth” sequence that starts the film.
