According to the source, Ridley Scott, who is still set to direct Prometheus 2 has apparently met many times with an English actor named Rik Barnett for an undisclosed role in Prometheus 2. The source adds that Rik’s potential role could be connected to Noomi Rapace’s character (Elizabeth Shaw).
Our source adds that until the script is finalized, anything is possible and nothing is final, but they do hint at the strong possibility that Rik Barnett will have some kind of role in Prometheus 2. The fact that Ridley is reportedly personally meeting with this actor on multiple occasions, suggests that his role will not be a minor one and with the hint that his role could relate to Rapace’s Elizabeth Shaw adds further speculation!

Do not know if real or fake, but see for yourselves.
UPDATE: Made with Celtx (free screenwriting software) - info matches with @antovolk’s type-up transfer of The Dark Knight Rises screenplay.

N.B. prometheus2_leak.pdf is the file from getcharlie albeit renamed, and MagnusRexFINALFIXED.pdf is antovolk’s TDKR transfer.
So, we think it’s fake. Simple as that.

“The thing about Prometheus was it was a rewrite. Jon Spaihts wrote a script and I rewrote it. And still it was a year of my life that I spent on Prometheus, kind of all in. The idea of building a sequel to it—from the ground up this time—with Ridley is tremendously exciting. But at the same time, I was like, “Well that’s probably going to be two years of my life.” I can’t do what J.J. [Abrams] does. I don’t have the capability. I’m usually very single-minded creatively. I can only be working on one thing at a time. So I said to him, “I really don’t think I could start working on this movie until I do this other stuff. And I don’t know when the other stuff is going to be done.” And he was like, “Well, okay, it’s not like I asked you anyways.” He and I are on excellent terms and it was a dream come true to work with him. But much to the delight of all the fanboys, I don’t see myself being involved in Prometheus-er.”
Our thoughts are with the victims of both tragedies in Newtown, Connecticut, US; and Henan, China.

Happy 75th Birthday Sir Ridley Scott!
complete with sketches like

Now, what looks like Damon Lindelof’s draft of Prometheus, titled Paradise…
According to Prometheus’ ending credits, Weyland Corp. was incorporated on November 10, 2012. The U.S. viewers assumed October 11, but Weyland Corp. was a British company. So: Day, Month, Year. 10 November, 2012.
But if you look at the corporate timeline, you will see it was incorporated on October 11. Nothing big happened on at day in terms of the viral, so we were least wondering what would happen on what Europe considers 10.11.12., November 10. And look what pops up.
What looks like the real deal, one of Jon Spaihts’ Prometheus drafts has leaked. After a read through, seems very real. Judge for yourself. If real, seems a great way to end 10.11.12. :)
Recently, I wrote this post about the original Jon Spaiht’s draft of Prometheus, looking at some of the differences between it and the final film, and at the same time, making the cardinal mistake of assuming those differences would be the sole result of the different writers on the project. I…
Finally got my hands on the original script for Prometheus, John Spaihts’ Aliens Prequel version. Interesting to see exactly what was changed and speculate about the why of it. Although I can’t argue that the original would have been a better movie, the majority of the more annoying problems from…

How many of you are dressing up tonight as characters from the film? Anyone going asthe Deacon?
Even though it has been a while since we last posted, and even though the new tagline for the film is Questions Will Be Answered, there are still a couple of unanswered questions in regards to the viral:
What is this CLASSIFIED page on ProjectPrometheus that we are still missing? A mishap on behalf of Weyland (as there are quite a few pages not linked there)…
The third video clip on the Project Prometheus Careers page - what’s up with that? We all thought it was going to be released in anticipation of 10.11.12., at least, as you will read below, before that plan got shelved…
This was from Fast Co.Create’s profile of the entire campaign (our recaps of which are under the Past Investment Opportunities tag) back when the movie came out. Now, what happened was, when the US Blu-ray/DVD release of the film was originally planned for 10.11.12. - October 11, 2012 by the American dating system, when Weyland Corp was incorporated, everything was building up perfectly to that point, until Fox pushed the release date to October 9, deactivating the What is 10.11.12. site (which did kind-of act as a glorified promo for the Blu-ray special features), and replaced it with this. Now, I personally really don’t think what Ignition meant by the “something new [that] happens” was just the original Blu-ray release date. The folks at Prometheus-Movie.com say that there is something definitely happening on November 10, 2012, what Europeans consider to be 10.11.12., but only time will tell what…
So, what do you think of all this? Did Weyland abandon the viral ship or is there something else afoot? Let us know…also we have a new Google+ page so add us to your circles!
Hearing multiple reports of problematic Prometheus Blu-rays. Our advice - make sure your BD player has the latest software because the disc has new copy protection algorithms. And if your PC has a Blu-ray drive, try it on there as well. Let us know if problems persist, we will try our best to help.
I am a law only for my kind. I am no law for all…
- Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra
T.E. Lawrence, eponymously of Arabia but very much an Englishman, favored pinching a burning match between his fingers to put it out. When asked by his colleague, William Potter, to reveal his trick; how is it he so effectively extinguished the flame without hurting himself whatsoever, Lawrence just smiled and said: “The trick, Potter, is not minding it hurts.”
The fire that danced at the end of that match was a gift from the titan Prometheus. A gift that he stole from the gods, who were terrified of what we might do with it were it to fall into our hairy little paws. When Prometheus was caught, and bought to justice for his theft, the gods, well, you might say they…overreacted a little.
The poor man was tied to a rock as an eagle ripped through his belly and ate his liver over and over, day after day, ad infinitum. All because he gave us fire: our first true piece of technology.
Fire.
Such a very long time ago. Which begs the question: what have we done with it?
100,000 BC: stone tools.
4,000 BC: the wheel.
800 BC: sun dial.
Ninth century AD: gunpowder. Bit of a game-changer, that one.
1441: the printing press, only slightly less impactful.
Nineteenth century: steam engine, railway; eureka, the Lightbulb!
Twentieth century: the automobile, television, nuclear weapons, spacecraft, internet.
Twenty-first century: biotech, nanotech, fusion and fission and M-theory; and that was just the first decade.
We are now 3 months into the year of our Lord, 2023. At this moment in our civilisation we are on the verge of terraforming planets undiscovered just a decade ago. We have identified the genetic chain of events behind 98 percent of cancers. A chain we have broken. Effectively curing them. We can create cybernetic individuals, who, in just a few short years, will be completely indistinguishable from us.
Which leads to an obvious conclusion:
We are the gods now.
…I haven’t been struck down, I’ll take that to mean I’m right.
We wield incredible power. The power to transform; to destroy and to create again. The question, of course, before us is what the hell are we supposed to do with this power; or more importantly, one should ask, what are we allowed to do with this power?
The answer to that, my friends, is nothing.
Rules, restrictions, laws, ethical guidelines…all but forbidding us from moving forwards! Well where were the ethics during the Arabian conflicts? Why are there rules preventing us from feeding impoverished cultures? How is there a law that states: if we build a man from wires and metal; a man who will never grow old, who will never feel the heat of a star, or the cold of the Moon, how is the creation of such an incredible individual considered unnatural?
The answer to all these questions is simple. These rules exsist because the people who created them were afraid of what would happen if they didn’t.
Well I am not afraid!
For those of you who know me, you will be aware by now that my ambition is unlimited. You know that I will settle for nothing short of greatness, or I will die trying.
For those of you do not yet know me, allow me to introduce myself.

Gazelle Twin’s track Bell Tower, which is used in the extended version of Peter Weyland’s 2023 TEDTalk from the Prometheus Blu-ray. She was linked to the project early on, but no-one knew which track or what viral video this would be for… The 3-minute cut down web version of the TEDTalk that has been officially released in February to kickstart the viral campaign doesn’t contain the track.
What is 10.11.12. now redirects to this…
Anyway, expect something special from us in the next couple of hours….
Ahead of tomorrow’s planned official announcement, here’s a FULL LIST of special features for the 4-disc Blu-ray 3D Prometheus Collector’s Edition! Andrew Martin International’s previously featured Prometheus stand is coming to London at Decorex 2012 at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Stand C109. ]
UPDATE: Looks like Decorex is one of these trade-only exhibitions, which means the average fan will probably not be able to see this…which is a real shame. We’ll post more info as it comes in.
